The top 3 players within their group will move to the next group in the following season. Remaining players will either move down a group or stay in the same group based on the number of new players enrolled for the next season. Final season standing will be based on points earned during the entire season.
Ranking Points Calculations:
Points Earned | ||
Winner | Loser | |
Straight-set win | 3 | 0.5 |
3-set win | 2 | 1 |
Default | 2 | 0 |
In the event that 2 or more players tie in points at the end of the season, standing will be based on the player with the most sets won less sets lost. Default wins are considered 2 sets won. If there is still a tie, then it will be determined by head-to-head result. As an example, to determine a 3 way tie:
- Player A has won 17 sets and lost 5 sets – > net sets won are 12 sets
- Player B has won 18 sets and lost 7 sets – > net sets won are 11 sets
- Player C has won 18 sets and lost 6 sets – > net sets won are 12 sets
Player B is in 3rd place, Player A is in 2nd place, and Player C is in 1st place because she won the Head-to-Head against Player C.
